Ladies Football in the Games for 2001

Following the late cancellation of the Ladies Football competition in Gotland this year, the Isle of Man Organising Committee have sought the intentions of all 22 Islands in the IGA concerning the event in 2001.

By 1st October 1999 we received 8 positive replies and it is with great pleasure that the Organising Committee for 2001 can announce that they will be offering Ladies Football as a sport in the NatWest Island Games 2001.

The Organising Committee for the NatWest Island Games 2001 will be seeking a formal letter of agreement from each of the participating Islands Games Associations to confirm their participation.
