Accreditation

For the 2001 Games all Accreditation passes must bear a photograph of the holder. The pass will entitle all holders to free access to all of the public transport available on the Isle of Man. This includes all Buses, Horse Trams and Trains, here will also be a designated bus service around Douglas which at peak times (mornings and evenings) will provide a bus every 5 minutes and at all other times of the day 10 minutes.

For competitors who are based in hotels in the South of the Island (Port Erin, Port St Mary & Castletown) a train service will be available at peak times and 'bespoke' coaches will be provided to Islands staying in these areas.

It is essential that all competitors provide the Organising Committee 2001 with a passport size photograph. Limited photo facilities will be available at ports of entry to the Isle of Man, but this will seriously hold up transfers from the airport/sea terminal to hotels on arrival.

Each of the passes will have a different colour border depending upon status. For example, Medical personnel will have a green border and security/marshals will have red. The little circle in the bottom corner signifies that the holder is under 18. The pass will also be your ticket to get into a number of venues free of charge ... including the final night party!
